Inspired by innumerable organizations taking action against problems arising from over consumption and climate change, we created an awareness campaign through Starbucks products and outreach. As the leading business in the globalized coffee industry, Starbucks has shown consistent efforts to integrate innovative social and environmental efforts into their practices. But there’s a major problem they have, so far, failed to addressed; that is the billions of tons in packaging waste they produce every year. The campaign aims to announce Starbucks upcoming transition to 100% reusables by 2017. The campaign informs customers about the negative impact that disposables have in our oceans and lands by bringing what the environment has to say into their own hands.
